I created Involution as a place to think aloud about the questions that have shaped my own life and continue to shape the way I understand healing, identity, spirituality, relationship, attention, and change.
These aren’t conversations about arriving at the right answer or becoming an ideal version of ourselves.
They invite us to look more carefully at the experiences we are already having and at what those experiences may reveal about how we have learned to see, respond, relate, and participate.

about
the podcast
We live in a time when answers are easy to find.
Let go. Change your mindset. Trust the universe. Heal the wound. Become your highest self. Detach.
Reinvent yourself.
Sometimes those ideas give us language for something we genuinely need.
But sometimes the answer arrives before we have understood the question.
Involution gives me room to stay with the question a little longer.
To examine the words we use. To trace assumptions. To bring spiritual teachings into conversation with psychology, philosophy, embodiment, and lived experience.
And sometimes to recognize that something doesn’t yet need to be resolved.
My aim isn’t to remove mystery or uncertainty from being human, but to cultivate the discernment to meet our experience more clearly.
When I named this podcast Involution, I was thinking about the inward movement of attention.
Not withdrawal from life, endless introspection, or turning ourselves into another project to solve.
Involution points to a willingness to look inward long enough to recognize what we bring into our participation in life.
The beliefs, identities, assumptions, fears, desires, conditioning. The ways attention has been trained. The relationships we have established with ourselves and the world around us.
The inward movement isn’t the destination.
We look inward so that we can participate outwardly with greater clarity.

season three
Why Letting Go Can Feel Like Dying
What if letting go is not simply about releasing what no longer serves us? A personal reflection on identity, grief, life transitions, and what I began to understand about the things we continue carrying after life has changed.
How Images Teach Us What to See: Transforming the Established Self
What happens when the image stops simply representing reality and begins teaching us what reality is supposed to look like? In this reflection, I bring the work of French philosopher and cultural theorist Jean Baudrillard into conversation with attention, perception, conditioning, identity, and conscious participation.
Thought Isn’t the Beginning
This episode, I explore how state changes the quality of thinking, why attention is often what we miss, and how conscious living prepares the field through which gathered attention and meditation become possible.
Who Are You Practicing Yourself to Be?
What have you attended to, valued, inherited, and repeated until it began to feel like who you are? Identity gives us somewhere to stand. It provides continuity through our roles, relationships, histories, values, responsibilities, and the communities to which we belong. But identity doesn’t appear out of nowhere. In this spoken reflection, I explore how what we attend to, value, inherit, protect, and repeatedly practice gradually takes form as me.
We Are Always Practicing Something
In this reflection, we explore what it means to consciously interrupt automatic movement, gather scattered attention, and return to a clearer relationship with ourselves and our experience.
The Hidden Patterns that Shape Our Lives
In this episode, we explore the meaning of samskāra… the impressions formed through repeated movements of thought, action, attention, and relationship. This episode is for anyone interested in self-inquiry, yoga philosophy, meditation, or the deeper patterns that influence how we perceive, respond, and relate to life.
Samādhi: The Fulfillment of Sādhana
Through the Sanskrit roots of the eight limbs, this reflection explores samādhi as complete establishment… not a distant spiritual achievement, but the fulfillment toward which sādhana quietly points. This reflection is for anyone who has sensed that information and intellectual understanding alone are not enough, and for those who feel called to explore yoga through lived relationship, attention, and practice.
How Did I Forget Myself?
In this reflection, I explore how attention slowly gathers around work, fear, responsibility, and identity until we lose touch with the place where life is actually experienced.
How Is Life Entering You Right Now?
Before expanding life-force energy, we ground energy.
In this reflection and guided grounding practice, Veronica explores breath awareness as a doorway into relationship with life-force energy, state, and the body. This episode invites you to slow down, listen to the breath, and notice how life is entering you before reaching for expansion, transformation, or higher states of consciousness.
When the World Tries to Make You Look Away
Come back to your breath. Come back to your body. Come back to your attention.
In this reflection, I explore attention, trauma, false peace, embodiment, and what it means to return to the body when the world keeps asking us to look away.
Admetos: Where Stillness Becomes Holding
Not all stillness is peace. Some stillness is wisdom, some is protection, and some is the body learning not to reach, need, express, or move.
In this episode, I explore Admetos as a symbolic doorway into compression, containment, endurance, and the places where life-force has gone quiet or underground.
This reflection speaks to embodied astrology, somatic healing, spiritual bypassing, pranayama, nervous system capacity, and grounding spiritual awakening through the body.
A New Beginning Is Not a Clean Slate
What if a new beginning is not a clean slate?
In this episode, I explore what it really means to begin again. This episode is an invitation to slow down, to question the idea of the “clean slate,” and the remember that the life we are asking for has to be lived by the body we are in.
Why Spiritual Awakening Must Include the Body
Many people on a spiritual path have language, insight, awareness, and information, yet still feel that something has not fully landed. This piece speaks to the difference between understanding a pattern and actually embodying it.
The Body Remembers What the Mind Outsourced
Attention isn’t simply something we give; it is life force in motion.
In an age of distraction and outsourced thinking, yoga invites us to gather our attention back into the body… the instrument through which we remember how to sense, discern, and live with clarity.
Before the Mind Turns Sensation Into a Story
This is a reflection on attention, the first movement of breath, emotional processing, and the practice of staying close to the body before the mind turns sensation into a story.

What happens when the image stops simply representing reality and begins teaching us what reality is supposed to look like? In this reflection, I bring the work of French philosopher and cultural theorist Jean Baudrillard into conversation with attention, perception, conditioning, identity, and conscious participation.
