You Cannot Change and Keep Everything

Why do we continue doing things we know need to change?

My newest talk, You Cannot Change and Keep Everything, explores knowing, surrendering, responsibility, conditioning, and the change we say we want. It asks what we’re protecting when we continue a pattern we can already see, and what support, guidance, and practice might help another way of participating become possible.

This is for anyone confronting what change will actually cost or living in the difficult middle where the old can no longer continue, but what comes next has not yet taken shape.

I made this episode because I know how hard it can be to release something that once helped us survive, belong, or continue… and because I have often wished someone would say that part aloud.

This talk continues an inquiry begun in Why Letting Go Can Feel Like Dying, which explores why releasing an established identity, relationship, or way of life can feel like losing an entire structure through which we have known ourselves.
